In the tradition of the Scottish Presbyterian Heritage, music plays a large part in our ministry.  We have a large repertoire, consisting mainly of classical anthems and cantatas, but are adept at most forms of music, including spirituals, contemporary, African and Caribbean.  Rehearsal is at 7:30 PM on Thursdays.  New members are welcome to join our robust band of singers.

Highlands’ Bell Choir (The Praise Ringers) was formed in 1996 and has performed quite admirably, taking on challenging pieces with confidence, utilizing multiple ringing techniques, and consisting of ringers whose age range is as broad as their repertoire.  Practice is 6:30 PM on Thursdays, and again, new members are welcome.

Highlands’ music tradition extends to the number of professional and amateur musicians found in the congregation.  We have occasionally fielded a chamber group from the congregation to accompany the choirs.  Our organ is a Rogers hybrid, and just the right size for our space.
