Text Box: Music is an important part of the life and work of Highlands Presbyterian church. Our choir provides music for worship from September through May. Highlights of the choir year include a service of Lessons and Carols during Advent, special Lenten and Easter music, guest musicians, and small ensemble singing during the summer. Lead by the husband-wife team of Miriam Matteson, director, and Hector Garcia, organist, the choir sings music from a variety of styles and traditions. Text Box: The Praise Ringers are Highland’s bell choir. Lead by Linda Merchant-Masonbrink, the bell choir brings beautiful arrangements of hymn tunes and other sacred music to our worship.
